Do you think you would respond better to feedback that is presented using a traditional scheduled performance review format or feedback that is presented as a routine part of everyday work activities? Discuss. How do you think leaders should frame negative feedback to achieve the best results?
In my opinion, feedback that is presented as a routine part of everyday work activities would be a good choice to review the work. As it will help the person to know about his work performance. The everyday feedback will give them an idea about their work, and what mistakes they have done. And even the people who have done good will be appreciated which will motivate them to work more and hard.
If a person has got a negative feedback than leaders should calmly explain to him about his mistakes and make him understand the difference between his work and others work. Leaders should motivate him to work hard and tell him that he has got a potential to achieve the goal. This will motivate him and the best results will be achieved. Don’t scare the person if he has got a negative feedback. It will demean him and he will feel humiliated which will break him internally and it will have a bad effect on the work.
