Organizational Behavior (OB) is the study of human behavior in organizational settings, the interface between human behavior and the organization, and the organization itself.

The main goal of studying organizational behavior is to modernize organizational theory and develop a better formulation of organizational life. It is influenced by the development of multiple disciplines like engineering, economics, psychology, sociology, and the experience of professionals. OB is concerned with the understanding, prediction, and control of human behavior at the workplace. It is the study of individual as well as group activities and their impact on job performance, motivation, and leadership. OB includes the topics of motivation, leader behavior, and power, interpersonal communication, group structure and processes, learning, attitude development, and perception, change processes, conflict, work design, and work stress.
