Watch the following video: Anti-Semitism & Jewish Discrimination | What Would You Do? | WWYD | ABC NewsAnti-Semitism & Jewish Discrimination | What Would You Do? | WWYD | ABC News Anti-Semitism was obviously a powerful force in the events leading up to and during World War II. Is anti-Semitism, as illustrated by the video, a rare occurrence today? How would you explain the change in the level of anti-Semitic harassment, threats, and assaults from the mid-1980s to the level in the 2000s?
Anti-Semitism is an evil of the society prevalent mostly during 1980’s.It was a feeling of strong dislike or cruel and unfair treatment towards Jewish people.
As shown in the video it is clearly visible how Jewish being treated and called by their own countrymen. How they faced the humiliation right up front and how they managed to control their emotions. Though they are residing in the same country but being treated differently due to their race and religion. European called them the only cause of financial instability and differences in country and wanted them to leave. People treat them badly and not thinking them as their own brother and sisters. This has changed a lot in the millennium due to liberal thinking and sense of brotherhood in the country. Education has also played a major factor in reducing this difference and their treatment towards them changed a lot. People were listening to them, praising them, following them for the good work and also counting them as their own countrymen. This has created a huge change in society and changed ways of thinking. Also, discrimination, for whatever reason, is unacceptable in society today but we have not got rid of this evil totally. We can face some situation sometime. People need to stop being mean to Jews and need to stop being judgemental, all we need is peace and love.
The number of anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. skyrocketed by 86% in the early 2017 according to a new report released by a prominent Jewish civil rights organization.
The Anti-Defamation League's audit of anti-Semitic events counted 541 anti-Semitic attacks and threats against Americans in the first quarter of the year, a dramatic increase over the same period last year.
The incidents followed an overall 34% increase in anti-Semitic assaults, vandalism and harassment last year when compared with 2015, according to the report.
These are happening due to many factors of which the prominent are political instability or misuse of power as prevailing in US in trump era, killing of innocent on religion aspect, convicting and vandalising Jews, shot and torturing them at work place etc. Bomb threat in Jewish schools and educational centres, firing at the mob, harassment case, spams and treat emails to the Jews aristocrat etc. These mostly prevailing in the recent times and creating huge massacre and hampering piece.
United nation and other organisation is condemning this evil and uniting together to combat this., There been rules and policy drafted to curb this globally and get rid of it.US government is also planning to do something in this aspect and announce sever action to be taken against this specially in California where the crime count is maximum.
