Answer: Part-1: This video shows the living condition of Heidy people after earthquake in January 2010 and how an organization Champions for Change is helping them to improve their health and bring a change in their life. This area is poorest and most difficult area to live; here people are under poverty line. Therefore their health and nutrition is badly affected. So many children are hungry and under malnutrition category. Reasons for their hunger is poverty condition because most of them stay out of metropolitan cities and doesn’t have sufficient earning to fulfill the food, clothing and health needs of children. Some areas like Southwest Missouri doesn’t have industries here or there are limited ways of employment over there. Though government has plans for improvement of food supply but greediness among food suppliers is also a reason for their hunger. One more reason is government health restrictions for restraints that make them throw lots of food rather than donating it to needy people. According to National Resources Defence Council, America throws 40% of its food. Government claims to have programs to deal with hunger but their effectiveness is still doubtful. There is a rich data available in this context. As a whole poverty because of less employment opportunities, ineffectiveness of government programs, throwing a huge amount of food and decrease in food insecure holders are main reasons for hunger among American children.
Part- 2: Feelings and thoughts over this video: this video shows the unconditional efforts of an organization named Champions for Change that was started after earthquake. A thought of pro-social behavior or help needy people unconditionally in the area of health is main motive of this organization. That gives immense feeling of satisfaction and meaning to the life of people working for and being worked for. Such efforts also motivate to do something like this that could give good life to the needy one. On the other hand there is a need to implement related programs effectively and honestly, need to change policies and rules for food supplies for these cities. All these efforts can result in improvement of poverty and can lower the rate of hungry children.
