Let us discuss the following scenario: Kant’s main argument is: we should never do anything; that, we would not anyone else to do.
Q. Imagine that you somehow find yourself in a situation where you could steal something extremely valuable and never be caught. The money you would gain from stealing this item would give you a great advantage in life and make the quality of your life and your loved one's lives much better. What would you do? Would you steal it? Or not? Explain your answer in 150 word.

No. Not at all, i will never be stealing anything whatever good it brings to my personal life.
The hollow happiness, the misleading feelings of contentment are much like hallucination if they are the effects of some wrongdoings like "Stealing".
According to Deontology/ Kantian ethics, "Do as we feel others should do unto us" reflects the fact that if someone steals my own belongings, i will dislike it and be restless.
Therefore, if i tend to steal someone else's belongings, it will make make the concerned person resless. Thus, stealing has to be avoided.
Further, Deontology/ Kantian ethics reflect the "Sense of responsobility/ duty" as the most crucial and significant facet of existence. The primary responsibility of we human beings is to take care of the self and the family. There should never emerge a need to steal something. This points towards the failure in the context of "Sense of responsobility/ duty".
