Strength in correlation of coerficient :

Correlation coefficient measure a association or strength of relationship between two variable . It measure three characteristics of the relationship between two variable.  

Correlation coefficient also measured direction of relationship between two variable . Wheather they are positive or negetive direction in their correlation .cofficient of correlation is a single number that tell us to what extent two things are correlated and to what extent variation in one go with variation of others .

It talks about magnitude and direction of relationship between two variable. Correlation coefficient vary from -1 to +2 .

One the basis of direction of relationship , if one variable is increasing then another variable also increasing in same proportion . It is called positive correlation . If age is increasing then IQ also increasing .

If one variable is increasing then another variable is decreasing . It is called negetive correlation .coffee sell negetivly correlated with temperature.

But one variable is increasing but there is no change in another variable then it is called no correlation or zero correlation .

When a some extent correlation doesn't remained linear relationship between two variable then it is called curvilinear relationship . For example , if Dose continuously given to maintain mood of a person, in certain time it doesn't not worked . Which means person mood remained same inspite of giving Dose in one time of situation .
