Walmart has been open all long the Pandemic
1- Look up Walmart's corporate numbers. What are were the sales, revenues, earning for the last quarter?

Company’s net sales increased by 8.7% and its Membership and other income declined by 2.7% so its total revenue increased by 8.6% for the three months ended April 30, 2020. The increase in revenue was due to an increase in net sales, which were primarily due to strong positive comparable sales for the Walmart U.S. and Sam's Club segments resulting from unprecedented demand due to the COVID-19 pandemic, along with positive comparable sales in the majority of International markets, despite operating limitations in some markets due to government regulations and precautionary measures taken as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Company’s cost of sales has been increased by 9.7% was primarily due to carryover of prior year price investments and unfavorable shifts in category and channel mix in Walmart U.S. segment due to changes in consumer spending in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Its operating expense has been increased by 5.5% due to approximately $0.9 billion of incremental costs related to the COVID-19 pandemic, including a special bonus for store associates, additional costs associated with outfitting our associates with masks and gloves as well as expanded cleaning practices, and expanded sick and emergency leave pay.
Company’s net income increased by 3.9% due to strong sales growth and controlled operating expenses.

Workers were anxious about working in crowded environments, with increased workloads, understaffing, inadequate sanitation protections and lack of increased compensation or paid time off for workers now on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic.
Many of old aged employees has also been called on for work during this pandemic time. Because of higher demand workers were asked for mandatory overtime shifts. Walmart has changed its leave policy also where workers are permitted to take unpaid time off if they don’t feel well, and any workers diagnosed with coronavirus or quarantined will receive up to two weeks of paid sick leave.

Workers at target also complained about same things which walmart workers facing. company was using cheap cleaning tools for cleaning stores. company workers complaining that they should get some extra pay during this pandemic but they were not getting.
Recently both companies has announced bonuses for its employees.
