The goals of the network administration:
Network Administration:
The Network administration is the process of managing infrastructure of the network and various network devices.
Goals of the network administration:
• The main goal of the network administration is to provide information and serving quality of network services to their users.
• Network administration tasks comes under 3 categories:
(1) Network Provisioning
It is the basic responsibility of network administration to do planning and designing of the network.
(2) Network Operation
It does the various management operation like Data collection and analysis, configuration management, fault management and performance and traffic management.
(3) Network Management and Maintenance
It does the maintenance tasks like Fault Maintenance, network repair, network test and installation.
The various goals of the network administration:
• Planning the network infrastructure and environment.
• Designing the logical network and models.
• Configuring software and deploying them.
• Collecting information and data about what/which services to implement.
• Implementing security measures and techniques.
• Performance and traffic management using easily upgradable machines.
• Network installation using hardware configuration.
• Network Error detection and Troubleshooting the network issues.
• Network testing and maintenance.
