The outcome of World War Two reshaped balances of power among great nations which had prevailed for centuries. discuss the nature of the new global competition that emerged in consequence, and the ways in which it shaped American politics internally?
After World War Two the world saw the rise of US as the powerful country. After World War Two there were three powerful countries which are US, USSR and Britain where in mid 1990 it came a situation where only US and USSR are the powerful countries.
During that time there is tension in the world as this two countries tried to overcome other country in every way they can and after seeing that situation every country took sides between this two countries. So country which is supporting US are having opposition from USSR and vice versa happened.
In late 90 and early 2000 China took the position of USSR as the powerful country. Now India is trying to emerge as the third world power along with this two countries.
All this lead to competition between countries in terms of trade, technology etc. After the Hiroshima and Nagasaki attack all countries tried to have Nuclear technology in their hands so that they too can be powerful which is also one major issue.
US tried to have control on other countries so that it won't have any opposition in future and it even succeded.
American politics internally developed the country and also made it externally powerful.
