Expert Solution

Wright brothers made the world’s first powered flight during the work war in 1914. And it was during the war that aviation saw some remarkable advancement.

World War I can be given the credits to be the first major conflict involving the large-scale/widespread use of aircraft. Basic things like tethered observation balloons, Zeppelins etc. had already been employed in several wars for artillery spotting. But Aeroplanes came into military use at the outset of the world war I. This led to pilots & engineers learning from experience, which led to the development of many specialized types, including fighters, bombers etc..

While we could see that the impact of aircraft on the course of the war was mainly tactical rather than strategic but nevertheless it helped in further development of the air crafts.

Thus we can say that the experience from the world war impacted the development of aircraft
