Some of the significant reason that a grant can be rejected:-

According to African American Literature Book Club,following are the some reasons-

  1. The first and vary important reason of grant request fail is that the person or group can't follow the guidelines.There are various guidelines are made by the government,which non-profit groups have to strictly follow.They have to meet all the eligibility criteria.So, that there grant can't be rejected and the most important thing is that before they even open the proposal, they except to be on time.
  2. The second reason is that the Proposal is may not be too Vague or unclear.When the group is going to submit the proposal or the request always check that the proposal is not unclear or vague.Beacause of unclear proposal request can be rejected or fail.
  3. The third reason that can reject the grant request is that the organization or non-profit groups has not present the clear evaluation.Many time non-profit groups present the unclear evaluation and unclear goals.which will affect the grant request.So, to get successful grant,Organization must be come up with the clear goals and evaluation plan.which shows there internal and external plans that what measures they will take in future.

Some of the other reasons are - proposal is too broad that it look like.you won't achieve that goal, new startup or the new non-profit groups can also face the rejection as no one knows about them,they are the new in the market.
