Advanced nurse can be defined as one with the needed scope and knowledge and the individual who is capable of utilizing this knowledge in skills and patient care.
Pros -
Nurse leader and nurse educafor may help improve the level of organization with in the hospital.
They improve the discipline needed to carry out nursing practice.
They help garner a step up to nursing practice.
Help in management and staff development.
Help initate a set rules and principles.
May help in fulfilling organizational goals.
Cons-
Thsy may loose touch with nursing practice.
Poor skills and efficiency.
May have difficulty in clinical judgement.
May lack clinical decision making.
There may be a great and drastic set back between bed and management nursing.
2) I disagree, nurse manager and nurse leader do not meet advanced nursing goals.
Advanced nurse may be defined as a nurse who. Is equipped jn meeting the evr increasing demand for patient care, she can be a nurse who has her expertise in patient care, decision making and emergency management. And many of them may specialize in oncology, pediatrics and family medicine.
A advanced practice nurse must posses the given set of knowledge and expertise ,which the nurse leader and nurse educator may lack due to poor bed side exposure.
