The pros of appeasing the leader of the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) by initiating trade and commerce with the nation is that a situation of trade war will be possibly avoided in future. Secondly by initiating trade and commerce with DPRK U.S. will be in a position to maintain its trade balance which is facing a deficit situation when it comes to its trade with China. The cons of appeasing the leader of the DPRK (Democratic People’s Republic of Korea) by initiating trade and commerce with the nation is that it may change the geo-political situation within the globe and against USA. This is because many countries are wary of political strategies of actions of North Korea’s leader – Kim Jong Un.

I would prefer business leaders to reign in Kim Jong Un. This is because Kim Jong Un has demonstrated in the past that he likes to hold onto his power and position and will not let any other person, especially a political figure to dictate terms to him. On the contrary a business leader can show some business rationale to Mr. Un and thus can reign him more effectively.
