Case summary:

Manufacturers carry great responsibility in producing such goods that does not result toxic in nature and could be easily recycled in nature. Companies should prevent itself from launching such products that are harmful for the human beings. Government today has made companies responsible for products that are not good for human consumption because when goods are produced with compromised processes carry dangerous and toxic chemicals and residue which them enters the human body and not only affect the consumer but also the child in the foetus. To prevent environmental harm, firms need to take ethical actions right from the designing of the product so that harmful products could be prevented from getting launched in the market for human purchase and consumption.

Solution:

If the products manufactured by a firm creates harmful effects even after years of their initial manufacturing and sale, then the producers of such goods should be held liable legally as well as ethically for manufacturing such hazardous products that continues to harm the environment and its components for such a long period. The legal authorities should fine and punish the producer of such goods, and in future prevent manufacturing of such products. In the making of such harmful products, the manufacturers should have foreseen such harms before attempting to make a product that is harmful in nature because a manufacturer should be aware of the consequences that the manufacturing of certain product will lead to the entities to whom that product will be served, and the entities that will get affected by that product. All good and bad aspects of the product should be determined by the manufacturer before initiating to produce it which concludes that the manufacturers should have foreseen such harms that product could create. And, even if the manufacturer did not know about the potential harms, still they should be penalized for manufacturing products because a manufacturer is expected be aware of the consequences that the manufacturing of certain product will lead to the entities to whom that product will be served, and the kind of good and bad the product could result for those people. And, if the manufacturer is not aware of the same, then he should be punished for this unawareness that harmed the environment and the consumers.
