Alcohol consumption is a hotly debated topic on college campuses. What are the harmful effects of excess alcohol consumption? In addition to the behavioral effects, how does it affect the liver? How does it affect nutrition? What are the health advantages to drinking in moderation? How is moderation defined?

Consumption of excessive alcohol is very dangerous problem it leads to many health issues like high blood pressure, irregular heartbeat, troubling in pumping blood to the body, heart stroke or heart attack and scaring of liver tissues. It also leads to malnutrition can also lead to anaemia.

If a person addicted to alcohol the liver process 90% of consumed alcohol. The rest exits through urine or sweat. It takes a hour to process alcoholic beverages if someone has excessive consumption body takes long time to process alcohol. The liver can process certain alcohol at a time excessive alcohol left unprocessed by the liver circulates through the blood stream. First the alchohol in the blood start affecting brain and heart then people become intoxicated. Excessive level of consumption of alcohol causes destruction of liver cells which result in scarring of liver, alcoholic hepatitis and cell mutation may lead to liver cancer.

Good nutrition is essential for providing energy and maintaining body structure and function . Many people who are addicted to alcohol eat less than the amount of food necessary to provide carbohydrates, proteins,vitamins and fats. The people will not consume enough nutrients and the nutrients they do consume are not utilized well. Eating a balanced diet provides the bod with the necessary calaorieees to be used for energ but some alcholics will ingest a lot of their total dail calaories from alchol. Alchol creates problem in digestion. It leads to malnutrition.

Any thing consuming balanced level is more helpful. In the same way consuming alchol at balanced level also results in some benefits. Moderate alchol consumption may provide some health benefits such as reducing your risk of developing and dying of heart disease. Possibly reduces your risk of stroke, and also reduces the risk of diabetes.Moderate alcohol consumption can lead to a longer life of human, reduces the risk of heart failure, it also prevents the common cold.
