The three changes that one can expect in my individual repertoire of skills and competencies to become a better manager are:-
a) Improve business communication and negotiation skills to better set stakeholder’s expectations and also able to manage the resources better. Hence this would lead to more efficient directing and control of the resources at hand.
b) Another area in which I would like to improve is the domain knowledge aspect of my business area and this would help in better planning and organizing strategy for the future.
c) The third area would be people management and building inter-personal relationship as that would help in motivating my workforce and also ensuring sustainable organizational growth.

In my current state, my role is of operational nature and needs limited managerial or supervisory role. And as a result, I need to focus more on delivering tasks given to me rather than focusing on stakeholder communication and organizational strategy and planning. Through an improvement in managerial skills as mentioned above, I would be able to take on positions of higher responsibility and also develop lasting inter-personal skills by which I could successfully contribute to organizational growth.

The most important management lesson that I acquired in managing health services is that it is very important to have empathy towards fellow colleagues and subordinates. This would help in better managing the workforce, giving them timely motivational intervention and also ensure that organizational objectives are communicated properly to the workforce and they are met in a timely manner.
