Here on going to describe the purpose of using data collection methods such as surveys, interviews, and observations to scan the external organization.

the external organization and moment is very dynamic and keeps on changing very frequently. the changes are so dynamic and fast that sometimes it becomes really hard for the organizations to cope up with those dynamic external organizational environment changes. It is really important to use the various methods such as surveys, interviews, and observations to scan the external organizational environment because the organization can easily pre-plan how to cope with uncertain changes that are going to happen in the future and prepare its employees to adapt those changes as soon as possible.

below are the purpose of using data collection methods such as service, interviews, and observation to scan the external organizational environment:-

1) TO IDENTIFY ON CERTAIN CHANGES:- It is really important to use in data collection methods to scan the external organizational environment because the external organizational environment is really dynamic and keeps on changing very frequently. The changes need to be determined as soon as possible so that the organization can easily adapt and implement them.

2) TO PREPLAN EVERYTHING IN ORGANISATION:- By scanning the external organizational environment using data collection methods, we get to know about everything that is happening in the environment and we can preplan accordingly and can implement those things in our organization for the smooth functioning without any hindrance.

3) TO IDENTIFY THE OPPORTUNITIES:- By scanning the external organizational environment using data collection methods, it becomes really easy for the organization to identify the opportunities and grab them first before anyone else could grab them.

4) TO AVOID THREATS:- it is really important to do scanning of the external organizational environment using data collection methods to know about the upcoming threats for the organization so that organizations either avoid or prevent those threats for preparing themselves to cope with those threats easily.
