What do you see as the primary differences between a Web DEVELOPER and a Web DESIGNER? What are some factors that a Developer must consider over a Designer, or vice versa? Why, specifically, is it important for each to have an understanding of what the other does?
Web Developer: A web developer plays an important key role in the web section. As we all know that the web means the internet. The developer is one who develops the usability and the functionality for the web. A web developer needs to know many programming languages. The developer mainly focuses on the front of the website. By using HTML, CSS, PHP, etc the developer could develop the front end of the website.
Web Designer: He is one type of artist who has the capability to give a variety of styles and fonts for the web/internet. The designers must think like in such a way that every user could get attracted to that website.
There are a few factors which differ web designer from a developer. They are:
i) Speed: The designed website must be accessed with more accuracy. So the developer also must be developed with more accuracy and speed. If the website is taking much time than 5 to 6 seconds then the users may feel uncomfortable.
ii) Maintenance: The developer should maintain the website for providing the required servers and passwords from time to time.
iii) Usability: The developer could design a site so that the website is user-friendly and also the user could have the interest of getting again and again into that site.
All these factors are mainly telling about the developer which differs from a designer. The two terms have their own importance and own significance. If one failed to work properly the other automatically fails because these are interlinked to each other. Web Designer, as well as Developer, plays a major role in the field of Website Design. So it is important to know about each other. Because these two terms are like Sun and Moon. Both are necessary to complete a day. As well as both designer and developer are required to complete a good website.
