What differences do you see between how the quantitative results are presented compared to how the qualitative results are presented?
Which type of data visualization (method or chart) do you feel is best for each type of data and why?
Are there certain considerations you think are important for communicating numerical results?
Ans 1
Qualitative Results are used to gain an glimpse or understanding of provided reasons, opinions, and motivations. It basically provides an insight of the problems or helps to develop ideas for potential quantitative research. It is completely based on theoritical aspect as it is concerned with description of the data.It is also used to uncover various segments of thoughts and opinions, and help to understand the problem deeply. The methods of collection of qualitative data may vary using unstructured or semi-structured techniques.
Quantitative Results are generally used to
quantify the problem by the way of mathematical calculations,
generating numerical, alphanumerical data or data that can be
transformed into usable stats.
Quantitative data collection methods include various forms of
surveys – online surveys, paper surveys, mobile surveys and kiosk
surveys, face-to-face interviews, telephone interviews,
longitudinal studies, website interceptors, online polls, and
systematic observations. It is used to quantify
opinions, behaviors, and various other variables and
generalize results from a larger sample population. Quantitative
Research uses measurable data to formulate facts and uncover
patterns in research.
"Quantitative data collection methods comparatively are more structured than Qualitative data collection methods."

Data visualization means putting certain efforts by someone making people help to understand the actual significance of presented data in "graphical presentation" by using several visual patterns like (pie diagrams, line, column, bar, etc.)
Chart is one of the best data visualization method, as one can very easily conclude from the visual graphical presentation of data that what is being shown and helps them to understand in one glance all the facts related to it.
>> One can easily compare all the stats shown in the data.
>> It helps in also understanding the trend.
>> It helps in establishing co-relation between different matters.
There are number of chart diagrams. Some of them are :
Bar chart, Column chart, Line chart, Scatter plot, Pie chart etc.
Ans 3
Communicating numeric results are quite lenghty and tough to explain in theoritical terms in comparison to visual graphical presentation. Hence there are certain things one should keep in mind while communicating numerical results.
>> Presented numerical data should be very accurate and mathematically correct.
>> Communication skills plays a vital role here, way of presenting.
>> There should be strategic discussion before taking certain action.
>> One should be very quick and decent while explaining.

Hope you get all the answers correctly. Dont forget to praise my hard work, JUST RAISE A THUMBS UP
Thank You :)
