Answer-

According to the given question-

Bulimia Nervosa is a life-threatening eating disorder. In this disorder a person   binge eat and vomit.

mortality rate is measured as crude mortality rate (CMR) which is death observed in a specific period of time within the population where the study is ongoing as well as standardized mortality ratio (SMR) which is calculated as the ratio of observed deaths of population on which study is ongoing as well as expected death in  population of origin.

Generally after nineties the mortality rates in Bulimia Nervosa patients is 1.74 per 1000 person in one year with confidence interval of 95 %.

So we can say that 0.17 % of Bulimia Nervosa patients is die in one year but the overall standardized mortality ratio was 1.93 with confidence interval of 95 %.

So here

Bulimia with 1.93 mortality rate  mean that standardized mortality ratio or SMR is 1.93 per 1000 person in one year with confidence interval of 95 %.
