Bullying has become increasingly problematic for school aged children. Describe the different types of bullying as well as the characteristics of a bully. What are the consequences for the victim of bullying? How will this affect their social development? Finally, in addition to the tips in the textbook, brainstorm some ideas for reducing bullying in schools.
The types of bullying include, physical, verbal, relational, and cyber
Physical is overt bodily abuse, the verbal involves derogatory or snide remarks, the third involves back biting and spreading of rumors, and the last one involves bull lying over internet and social media.
A bully is a person who is impulsive, is angered easily, views violence as power and as a atool for selfish reasons, lacks sympathy as well as empathy.
Bullying can make a person become reserved and develop issues of trust and relationships within a person which can impact them in their adult life and develop a sense of helplessness which is often extrapolated in other shores of life.
By having empathy classes and me too classes wherein feelings are shared that make people believe that there are many instances and inert shared thoughts which almost all of us have which can develop a sense of solidarity and shared consciousness.
