Occupational Safety and health administration (OSHA) identified 5 areas of potential hazard in workplace.

Safety hazards- these include any type of substance, object or condition that can cause an injury. Eg. Spills on the floor, machinery with moving parts etc
Chemical hazrads.- these include caustic or corrosive substances that are involved in workplace. Eg. Acids, silica dust, toxic substances etc
Biological - these include infectious agents that can be passed on the worker through agents like blood, aerosol, fomites. Healthcare workers are at risk of exposure to biohazards. Proper care should be taken while practicing bro make sure that biological materials are handled and disposed responsibly. UN Versal precautions should be practiced.
Physical - these includes materials and situations where the harm is physical in nature. Eg. Radiation exposure, extreme heat or cold etc.
Ergonomic- these include situations where adequate ergonomic adjustments are not in place which lead to musculoskeletal problems. Eg. Non adjustable chairs with computer usage, jobs involving standing for long hours etc.
