b)Display technologies present in today's date are many. Four technologies mentioned here are:

CRT - Cathode Ray Tube: The CRT are the display technology which is most commonly used in the TV. The general shape of such technology used devices is spherical curve. These technology carrying TV used to be very heavy and expensive to mend and repair. They were also very susseptible to noise and distortions in the display.

LCD - Liquid Crystal Display : These LCDs were the ones that made the display monitors look Flat in shape. These also reduced the weight of the equipment. The main component used in the LCD is the liquid crystals present in the screen.

LED - Light Emitting Diode: These were also the flat display monitors. These contained the array of light emitting diodes as the pixels. These were generally used in the TVs and the billboards. These imporved the quality of images being displayed to the viewers.

OLED - Organic Light Emitting Diode : These are also generally used technology in today's date. These are mostly in the rectangle in the shape with rounded edges or without it. These also come with the punch hole in between the screen and might also contain the notch.

I am taking the example of using smartphone. In this case of activity, I would choose OLED. As the OLED provide the better experience to the user and also gives a feeling of newer and more interactive touch to the display. The display feels more lively to the user. OLED display technology also reduces the power consumption and increases the efficiecy of the system, as it reduces the lag of images being processed.

Interactability:

Shopping Mall billing system:

These system are mostly touchscreen and the screen used is mostly LCD. In terms of interactability, there feels some lag between the touch and response. The input is provided through the touch and through the keyboard.

Shopping Mall navigation system:

These also uses the touch screen monitors. There is only the input of destination and the output is displayed on the screen. There is also the delay of result after input, so interactability feels less resposive.

Shopping Mall entertainment system:

These are the complete computer systems with latest technology. The input modes vary but are mostly throught the mouse and keyboard. These are more responsive than other system as the delay in the audio is not permisible.

Improvement of input and output:

Shopping Mall billing system:

The input and output units can be improved by using more latest technology of displays like OLEDs. The smartphone technology for displays if used here can greatly improve the experience of the use.

Shopping mall navigation system:

The transition states between the input and outputs can be improved. The more latest LEDs with more pixel density can be used to increase the performance.

Shopping mall entertainment system:

For this system, the public user should be allowed on some scale so that it can enhance the entertainment. Also,the all in one with touchscreen systems can be used to increase the mobility of this entertainment system. In this way, these can be improved.
