Job Duties
Sales
- Achievement of model wise, monthly,
and annual vehicle wholesale and retail sales target & Targeted
market share for his/her Area;
- Joint Preparation & execution
of annual dealer business plan & get dealer commitment for
same
- Achievement of sales targets in
sub-verticals of Exchange, fleet & corporate sales
- Reduce variability amongst his/her
set of dealerships
Dealer
Management:
- Cultivate and manage a strong
relationship with dealer principals and Team
- Ensure DP’s commitment &
involvement in MG Motor business
- Track Business growth at the
dealership and take desired steps to ensure profitability of the
dealership
- Ensure achievement of dealer wise
business processes& customer satisfaction scores
- Ensure timely dealer pay-outs for
all sales related eligible claims before 15th of the
month
- Ensure least gaps in the uniform
implementation of company policy, strategy and tactical
schemes
- 6. Understand and advise Dealer on
Business Expansion Strategies and Tactical moves
- 7. Understand Dealer Financials 8.
Empathy with Dealers and Customers to take the right steps and give
inputs to HO for policy making
Field
Operations:
- Guide, lead and mentor the Dealer
sales field operation teams to achieve the Business objectives
- Sales process deployment, and
standards implementation across the network
- Monitor & improve the processes
and standards at dealers
- Recruitment of qualified and
competent resources at Dealers
- Run desired promotional campaigns
as necessary to achieve targeted leads in conjunction with Dealer
and HO Marketing department
- The high penetration level of BTL
implementation in experiential selling to keep brand consideration
high
- Create a highly responsive feedback
mechanism;
- High on Initiatives and create
exciting points in his market for sustained consideration and
footfalls at Dealers
- Ensure strong & credible follow
up and conversion up tools implementation
- Ensure upkeep of the facility, test
drive cars etc for a class above experience to customers
Allied Businesses &
Activities:
- Ensure targeted Finance and
Insurance penetration at Dealerships
- Develop and maintain a strong
relationship with local media, agencies for a coordinated approach
to ATL and BTL
- Develop accessories business as an
additional source of revenue stream for dealerships
Sales Planning, Stock
Management & Budget Planning:
- Three-month advance stock planning
input to Plant
- Management and maintenance of the
desired level of new car stock at dealers
- Tactical budget management &
running tactical & retail incentive scheme
- Monitor and control expenses as per
approved budget
Reporting and
Payment
- Maintains Daily, Weekly and Monthly
Reports of the sales trends and actions in place (deliveries,
bookings), maintain and analyze all records of minutes of meeting
and dealer interactions
- Ensures that the actions decided in
the minutes are put into place and follow up the actions
- Ensures timely payment of all
eligible claims of the dealership before 10th of subsequent
month
- Escalates unresolved issues at next
superior level so that business does not get impacted
- Makes a complete presentation for
each underperforming operational dealers with all issues
- Collection of funds from dealers
for new cars and other ensure no outstanding of the company
remains
- Builds a market Intelligence system
for lead indicators on Dealer Health; market sensing mechanism
& feedback on consumer inputs on products, services,
processes
Leadership:
- Managing and delegating work to
dealer teams
- Create a healthy working
environment within the team
- Motivate the team to achieve the
target
- Ensure maintenance of defined
budget expenses
- Ensure a quick, result oriented and
fun environment at dealerships
