SUBJECT: System analysis and design IT243
Q1:
Assume the following scenario:
A small company needs to develop an information system for the
Finance and Accounting Department. As an analyst which process
model would you prefer and why?
Since, we have to develop an informating system related to the finance and accounting department, the process model needs to emphasize on the quality of the system that is being developed
The Agile model is a collection of both the iterative model and incremental process models. It focuses of customer satisfaction by delivering the products at a fast rate.
In each iteration, there are these 5 steps which are followed:
i.) Planning to make a successful product,
ii) Requirement analysis: It collects all the requirements of the product to be developed,
iii) Design of the product,
iv) Coding: Converting the idea into implementaion,
v) Unit Testing: Each component is tested separately,
vi) Acceptance Testing: Before deploying the final product
After each iteration, the product is shown to the client, board members and company's stake holders. Based on them, a new requirement is added until all the requirements are developed over multiple builds.
