System Request : During the planning phase of the software development, the system request is a document used for the initialisation of the SDLC ( Software Development Life Cycle).

System request documents contain the business reasons for developing the system and its overall business values that is provided to the system.

Here in the above given system we have to initiate a system to provide the online shopping services during COVID-19 pandemic. Hence our system request to initiate this proposal is maintained by the following elements.

1. Project Sponsor : The project sponsor is the person who will work during whole Software Development Life Cycle and ensures that the project will run in correct way from the perspective of business side.

The project sponsor will receive the regular updates of the project.

For the above mentioned online shopping service the sponsor can be any ABC sponsors as they are known for their brands and therefore they link the brand names to our products on shopping site. By providing brand the value of the products and site will gain the attention.

2. Business Need :

a. Website and Mobile Application : First of all for the online shopping services we must have our own site and mobile application for the users through which they can buy the products.

b. Shopping Cart : After the website and application, there must be a cart facility provided to the user so that they can easily select and buy the products according to their respective choices.

c. Return Policy: There must be a return policy for the products that are sold but have consumer complaints and need to be returned back. Some policies must be defined for this purpose.

d. Marketing Tools: There must be some marketing tools to introduce and advertise our site for online shopping services so that more people come to know about that.
