Marketing strategy-
The corporation want to make an app so that the students can feel
it is easily. The marketing strategy for it is as follows-
Product/ service- in this case the service is to develop an mobile
app which enables the student to fill online forms for different
colleges. Main feature of the app should be it ,must be user
friendly. The time taken for application to load must be fast. The
application size must not be very heavy. It should cover all the
colleges which are present in the nearby area.
Price- Generally there should be no price for downloading the app.
The companies which are operating through mobile app charge
commission from the the service provider to whom it is giving
business. In this case the service provider is college to whom it
will give students for admission .
The main source of income for the company will be the commission
charged by giving admission of student to the college.
Promotion- the promotion of the mobile application related to the
admission of students can be in several ways. It can distribute
pamphlet, Handbills, it can put big Hoardings near the college to
create brand awareness. It can go for Digital Marketing which is
quite popular these days for companies who are into mobile
application business. It can also tie up with similar applications
which are not directly in competition with them such as Amazon
Kindle who sell books.
Place- places is mostly concerned with those products which have
physical location. In this case the place is is not
applicable.
