how is optic microsophy applied to physics (mirrors and lens)(reflection and refraction) give medical and physics examples.

Solutions

Expert Solution

Answer :-- optic microscopy is the method in which by the use of one or more lenses we can magnify the sample`s image . there are many type of optical microscopy which vary from very basic to very complex design . whose use depends on the requirment of the limit of resolution (resolution limit is the minimum distance between two object which can be seperatly seeby the instrument ). such as simple mmicroscope , compound microscope, digital microscope , stereo microscope , inverted microscope .

  • the basic structure is that in all microscope there are objective lens , eye lens , and the sample .
  • the sample is placed first , than the objective lens and than eye lens . light comes from the objective lens which create enlarged , inverted image of the sample which can be viewed by the eye lens or eeypiece.
  • some othe microscopy methd is also present such as SEM(scaning electron microscopy), TEM(transmission electron microscopy ), x- RAY diffraction etc.

Experiment 8: Reflection and Refraction * From the results describe and draw graphs to show how the focal lengths of the concave and convex mirrors are obtained. Experimental Procedure: A laser beam ray is shining toward a plane mirror surface, we draw the incident ray and reflected ray on a piece of paper with a normal line drawn already. Then we use a protractor to measure the incident angle and reflected angle. cylindrical mirror results: Concave mirror Convex mirror Focal...
