give a reflection on how your knowledge about management has changed and what
for you was the most valuable theory or concept you learned and how this will affect your
practice of management and your attitude to managers you report to or will report to in
the future.
It is very much clear that the role of managers has changed a lot today from what it was few years back and with this change, the managers also need to cope with the change in the situation. The role or work of management may actually seem very easy but actually it is not what it looks like and it can be stated as one of the most difficult jobs in an organization that is to manage the employees as well as the organization on a whole. I always thought that they managers have the most comfortable job in the organization but now I know the pain and responsibility they have to take every now and then because the job is to keep everyone happy.
The most valuable thing that I have learnt about managers is that their style of management differs and cannot be compared because the actions are different as well. The most effective management style according to me is the cooperative and diplomatic style of leadership in which the leader is cooperative with the employees and also very much good to go with as they always give importance to what the employee thinks and their suggestions and I believe that I am lucky to have a manager like this which actually makes me respect my current manager. In a team, I feel that this should be the style of management which managers should follow.
