is all conflict bad? share some situations

Solutions

Expert Solution

Conflict is not always bad it can be productive in many instances, conflict within organisations helps the people to avoid group think, which can be counterproductive and disasterous in some situations.

An instance where conflict was useful was in my organisation where some of my team members wanted to implement a new strategy in the research department, they all had unanimously agreed on this but when I raised some questions it turned into an argument and conflict arose, but this conflict gave an idea to the team members that their initial stance was faulty and they reconsidered their original position.

Another instance of this is during a PhD topic presentation a PhD scholar at choosing a topic which appealed to all the faculty and students but one faculty objective to it as he did not see the value in the researc. This objection caused conflict among the professor's, leading them to a debate about the topic and ultimately they discarded the topic as the topic was not feasible and also the topic was not valuable.

All humans share some fundamental characteristics inherited from their Australopithecus ancestors. But humans share more characteristics than what was listed on those slides – characteristics also shared with most animals. One of these is the cell membrane protein ACE-2. ACE-2 is a highly conserved protein, meaning that mutations in the ACE-2 gene are rare. Studies of how these rare mutations are distributed across the human world population are still in early stages (Cao et al. 2020). However, four things are...

If you forget the other-things-equal assumption, you can encounter situations that seem to be in conflict with the laws of demand and supply. For example, suppose salsa manufacturers sell 1 million bottles of salsa at $4 a bottle in one year; 2 million bottles at $5 in the next year; and 3 million at $6 in the year thereafter. Price and quantity purchased vary directly, and these data seem to be at odds with the law of demand. But there...
