Communcating with others is an art. There are many methods that can be used for an effective communication. First of all, we need to choose our words carefully during a communication process because words are very powerful tool. They can make something better or can destroy it. We should always use positive words while communicating with others. We should make sure that our words are understandable by the listener. Vocabulary is also an important part of the art of communication. It reflects our personality and reveals how educated we are. The tone that we use while talking with others can change their opinions about us.
Another important aspect of the art of communication are emotions. Emotions describe our moods and feelings such as happiness, anger, stress, sadness etc. They work as a powerful communicator. It is mandatory to pay attention on gestures and whatever we speak should be clear to the listener. If we keep all these in mind than we would definitely acquire the art of communication and will become an effective communicator.
How To Control Your Emotions
Emotions are the most present part of our daily lives and activities. They help us to connect with others in a better way but if we allow our emotions to rule us, it may result into anxiety, depression and negative effect on our mental and physical health. So it is very important to control our emotions by validating and accepting them. If we feel emotions like anger or fear, we need to understand the situations that trigger them.
To eliminate negative emotions, always have a smile on your face and bad feelings will be automatically disappeared. Another method to control your emotions is meditation because it moves our focus from unwanted feelings and gives us peace. A quick medication to calm yourself gives us the quality of self control. To eliminate a negative emotion, engage yourself in an activity that you love and dont allow your emotions to drag you down into depression.

Psychology is the study of mind and human behaviour. A psychologist focuses on the role of mind and its impact on our body. Psychologists are different from psychiatrists. A psychiatrist treats a mental disorder and prescribes medication as well. On the other hand, a psychologist focuses on emotions and thought process of an individual and counsel him accordingly. Psychologists help people by guiding them in different stressful situations of their lives. There are different types of psychologists such as child psychologist, clinical psychologist,sports and counselling psychologist. The main job of a psychologist is to counsel people with mental disorders such as depression, substance abuse and anxiety with the help of appropriate therapeutic methods.
He or she helps people to improve their personal relationships through marriage counselling and group counselling. The therapeutic treatment provided by a psychologist helps patients to improve their lifestyles and behaviour. Psychologists also work as teachers and counsellors in schools and colleges. They help students to choose better career options for them. The psychologists mainly work as therapists, researchers, academicians and administrators in health care industry. So we can say that a well trained psychologist plays an important role in our lives.
