1) Why do you believe organizations invest in training and career development programs for employees? How does the organization benefit? How can training and development support an organization’s strategic goals? Why should HRMs focus on the career development of employees?
1.Training is a process of inculcating or teaching a skill to employees, through training employees get how to perform their job more better than their way of performance thus achieve 'doing it the right the first time' policy. Training also result in employee satisfaction because they acquire new knowledge in relation to their field of work and also to increase their efficiency to perform as they get acquainted to using machines that make the base of their job performance more effective.
2. Through training an organization benefit from the work output that their employees display and performance compared with other service providers of equal who do not train her employees this makes such organizations acquire competitive advantage and economies of scale as well.
3. Strategic goals are the planned objectives that an organization strive to achieve, this goals be achieved through training and development support which makes employees acquire the right skills so that the assigned duties can accommodate the set objectives and make them achievable.
4.Human resource management should focus on career development of employees as a strategy of organizational learning was talent is nurtured and improving employee performance can be enhanced.
