In Food, Inc., whose responsibility do you think it is to inform us about what is in our food? Is it our responsibility to find out, the producer’s responsibility to make it more clear, or both? Why do you think so? write 200 words please
Answer - It is the responsibility of both , the producer and the customer to find out what is there in the food.
It is the producers responsibility to tell the consumers that what contents and ingredients the food contains. They must do adequate expenditure to list the ingredients on the label of the food. The ingredients listed should be truly present in the food otherwise any false listing may have legal consequences. The producer must tell the customer what they are being given to eat.
From the customers point of view , it is also their responsibility to find out what are they eating or what all the producer is offering them to have. In the case of ignorance , this may lead to the health problems in the individuals. Hence customers also should check what is there in their food so that they can decide what to eat and what not to eat.
In this way it is the responsibility to both , to check the food.
