a) Discuss four (4) reasons why training evaluation is important.
Why training evaluation is important:
1. Analysing efficiency: evaluation training is important in order to understand how effective and how efficient was our training for the employees. Training evaluation helps us to acknowledge weather the objectives of our trainings are accomplished or not, the skills we were trying to share with the employees were equipped by them or not.
2. Improvements for future: if we evaluate our present trainings we are providing to our employees, it would be help us to understand how we can improve our training programs, where is the scope for improvement, whether we should stick with the same training programs on not.
evaluation will help us to provide the training in future in a better manner and in a improved manner which would help us to attain power training objectives more accurately.
3. Credibility: if we evaluate our training, there are chances that it will improve its credibility. Outside parties like customers and investors will rather trust evaluation than word of mouth.
Such people will trust more in the evaluation of training than we telling them that we are providing training to our employees and our employees have improved skills and knowledge.
4. Insurance of achievement of goals: if we evaluate our training which was, in the first place, done to achieve our goals in a better and efficient manner, then we could ensure about whether the training would help in the achievement of the goal in a better manner or not.
