For this extra-credit assignment (this is only an opportunity, not a mandatory assignment), think about your performance to be a successful student in our HRM class. Explain how you can be a high performer in this class regarding each of the three dimensions of performance. Like we did in class for the example of a restaurant server, for each dimension, write down 5 specific ways (1-2 sentences per way) in which you can be a high performer in this class.

Following are the ways,How student can be a good performer by using all the three dimension of the performance.

(a) In-role task performance - In-role task performance is used when student participate in performance task or activities.wher they can applied there knowledge, skills and develop the collaborative work habit.

  • Presentation - Oe of the easy way to be a good performer in the class is to do a presentation or reporting kind of activity.This will increase the knowledge as well as teaching skill.
  • Portfolios - Student portfolio can include the items that student is create or collected over period of time.By participating in various activities student can learn new somthing.Which will help them to increase there performance in the class..
  • Projects - Projects and assignments are commonly used by the teachers to evaluate the performance of there students.So, by applying our knowledge and skill.we can represent a good and informative project report.
  • Exhibits and Fairs - Teacher also organize the various exhibits and fairs for there student to display there work and evaluate there performance.So, by applying our creativity and innovation in the exhibition .we can increase the performance.

(b) organizational citizenship behaviors - organizational citizenship behaviors tells about the person's behavior in the organization or in the workplace.

  • Altruism - Altruism is a word used to describe as the desired to help.When your are helping in nature wile not expecting the reward and compensation and everyone is happy with you.Your performance is automatically increase in the class.
  • Curtsey - Curtsey is defined as a behavior,when the person is polite and considerate toward the other person.When student is polite with everyone.Teacher will already impressed with your behavior.Which will help to Increase the performance in the class.
  • Sportsmanship - It is exbits as a no negative behavior in the class.When the student have sprit to not to face the failure.Which will spread the positivity in the class.Then this will increase the performance.
  • Conscientiousness - Conscientiousness is defines as a person's behavior that suggest the reasonable level of self control and discipline.when a student always follows the rules and guidelines and always have in discipline will help his/her to increase there performance.
  • Civic Virtue - It is defined as how the person/student represent the class or the organization in the school or How student support other student of class in the school.

(c) Counterproductive work behaviors - Counterproductive work is the behaviors of the employee or the student that goes against the legitimate Interest of an organization/school.

  • Get the root of the matter - In every case or issue.Don,t judge quickly, firstly got to the root cause of the problem.which will help to resolve the issue and reduce the conflict.
  • Involvement of administration - When the conflict is arise always take a help of the teachers or the administration.So, that problem can be resolve.
  • Have a plan a stick to it - Many times student have face the bad behavior by there colleague.So, when the student have a plan that how he face that kind of Problem and make the discipline in the class.Help the student to increase there performance in the class.
  • Reach out to the colleagues -When any unwanted situation/conflict is arise always take a help of your fellow students will help to avoid the Counterproductive work behaviors.
  • Don't confuse problem with person - This will hel the student solve the issues easily by not taking the problem personally.
