In each column list the characteristics and behaviors you consider to belong in each category, including physical appearance and functioning, societal roles, personality traits and relationships. Have your current views of gender functioning changed from when you were growing up? If so, what contributed to the change? Do you have a problem with the way society currently views either gender? Explain.

Male :

• More muscular than women.
• Perception and peripheral vision are good but not as much as good as woman.
• Suffer higher death rate.
• Men's fertility lasts longer .
• Male access to resources such as political and economical power in community .
• Not need to face more job inequalities.

Female :

• Half as strong as men in the upper bodies.
• More eye-sight.
• Women live longer
• Female fertility starts decreasing after 35.
• Women have less role in political end economical conditions.
• They also have less control over their roles.
• Payment inequality in job areas .

When I am younger , i don't know much about gender. But later society itself teaches a lot about what to do or what not to do especially for females. During childhood days I think both boys and girls are allowed to play together in playground. But later, when I become an adolescent the condition changed. There are many restrictions ,do'es and dont's which are culturally accepted for female. In many culture girls and women are generally expected to dress in feminine way and polite ,accommodate and nurturing. In society itself gender inequality can be observed. Some of the examples of Gender equality are unequal pay, sexual harassment , racism etc.
