How much of an impact do you think that organizational culture has on an employee's decision in selling company passwords
In today's world where information is power , competition is cut throat , employees loyalty to organisation and protecting IP and trade secrets are crucial . There are various factors that determine whether employee will disclose the trade secrets of company or not , and the culture of organisation is one such important factor.
Concern of employees must be integrated to human resource policy so as to keep them motivated and develop a sense of loyality. Issue if power distance also influences the loyalty and commitment of employees, both during and post association. If there is better coordination and communication between different levels then certainly there will be better commitment. A proper feedback mechanism ensure the addressal of grievances and thus discard the possibilities of growing problems .
So it can be said that organisation culture has become crucial in today's scenario where people are rarely associated with single company for long , as was the case 10 years back. Moving from one organisation to another , employees can be fostered the commitment and loyalties towards all the organisation for which he worked through appropriate culture.
