My English teacher had the most impact on my development during my grade school. She had a great level of sense of humour and she was also very motivating. I was moved by her patience and concern towards every student in my class. I was slow in my studies and struggled to get along with other students. She used to talk to me during the evening about the importance of engaging actively not only in classes but also in other activities. Because English subject would have lots of scope for skits, dramas and group activities, she leveraged on them and helped us build confidence. She helped me make new friends in the class and my life changed to a great extent as I was able to overcome my shy nature. she helped me in participating in the cultural events and it’s from there, I developed my boldness and overcame stage fear. She was one of the teachers with whom all the students wanted to affiliate and spend time during the break. She was a teacher who not only taught the facts but also inspired all of us through exemplary character and friendly nature.
