In elementary school, I might support the development of media literacy in my classes in following ways:

(1)By encouraging elementary class students to ask questions about what they watch, hear, and read.

(2)By equipping elementary class students with tools to help these students critically analyze messages, offers opportunities for them to broaden their experience of media, and helps them develop creative skills in making their own media messages.

(3)By promoting awareness regarding different means of media such as internet, news paper, television etc. among elementary class students.

(4) By making aware of the impact of media.

(5) By imparting students an understanding of the process of mass communication.

(6) By giving understanding of media content as a text that provides insight into our culture and our lives.

(7)By imparting an ability to enjoy, understand, and appreciate media content.
