Let us consider the action my parents to which I respond the most . The response is Positive Attention . The main characteristics of this response are the attention and warmth involved in it . Whenever I do something or about to do something when my parents respond to me or ask me in a warming way and also take interest in my thing it always generates a good positive response from my side .

There are number of factors which motivates me

  • A sense of accomplishment or a constant need of achievement .
  • A sense of higher purpose
  • Memories of Mom just to make her proud . She passed away recently in February

There are number of ways I use to motivate myself

  • Thinking about good memories with my mom which instantly mortviates me as making her proud or thinking about her motivates me to do ,I work with more energy and passion
  • Using self affirmative talking in difficult or stressful situations
  • Listening to motivational speeches and reading about success stories
  • Self modeling
  • Being from a sports background helps me to stay motivated as I have seen so many failures in my life so sports are given the ability to bounce back all the time .
