obtain assessment information are
- Interview- This involves obtaining information through
telephone or face to face interactions. The questions are asked and
the respondent gives the answer. For instance, the psychologist
asks Michael how many cigarettes he smokes in a day.
- Checklist- These are a certain type of information bank in
which behaviors are written in the form/style of statements and
behaviorist observe and tick mark those behaviors which have
appeared. For instance, Psychologist spends four hours with Tommy
and notice his autistic behaviors like repetitive speech,
aggressive acts, shouting, flapping hands, etc
- Test- These are standardized psychological tests that involve
various assessment procedures like experiments or self-report
measures. For instance, Jhonny fills the test that asses OCD
symptoms.
- Direct observations- These as the name suggests- This involves
observations and recording behaviors. For instance, Mother recorded
how much time johnny spends on playing games by keep checking his
room.
