According to me, the future of business analytics is very bright. Today many organizations are already using it to improve their reach in the market, boost sales, operate more efficiently and also to introduce new products and services. Companies like IBM, Accenture, and Deloitte are using business analytics tools and coming up with decisions that are useful and profitable for their businesses.

To support that lets take an example of Amazon, Using analytics, Amazon is in a far superior position than the traditional book-retailers. They can now see not only what the customers buy while they browse websites, but also at what else they look at when and then can group them based on their preferences, which is not possible for a retailer who sells books offline per say. This gives Amazon an advantage compared to traditional book stores.

Some of the future aspects of analytics are:

Analytics will play an important role in data security.
Analytics tools and techniques will help companies deal with the massive amounts of structured and unstructured data generated by Internet of things.
Growth of Cognitive Analytics.
Companies would become over-critical and cautious with their Data Accuracy.
Machines or algorithms would be able to predict future using analytics
