In general, smartphones represents those categories of mobile phones which are used not only for calls and messages but also for different types of social interactions.

Although there exists variety of reasons of smartphone addiction, but we will try to include all of these reasons in following three broad categories:

1].Social anxiety: Social anxiety refers to fear of social situations or social interactions. It is reflected in many studies that the people with social anxiety are the more compulsive users of smart phones. It provides more time to people to think and react to issues of interactions.

2]. Social Connectedness: It is often seen that in busy world, people seldom gets enough time to express and share their feelings or emotions with their closed ones. 3]. Dynamics of present world: At present, the world is such competitive and dynamic that people do not want to lag behind from others. With internet accessibility and extensive social network, people can get any update regarding any issues with the help of their smartphones. This increases their needs. In this real world, people do not get enough time to engage in different tasks to improve their ability and get their desired results. In this context, with newer and extensive functions, the smartphones play a crucial role in satisfying the needs of the people. For example, to have food from a desired hotel, people often prefer to order online to save time and money.
