Is the argument that “race” is a social “myth” just a form of imperialistic, flattening logic that ignores important biological and cultural distinctions? Why? Why not? What follows from your answer in terms of social organization, levels of respect between different groups, and for the implementation of human rights?

Expert Solution

Yes, the taxonomy of the concept race is unable to make much sense as a biological concept. Even when will you look at it as a cultural concept it is ethnicity that has a cultural context and not the race they just over lap but are really very distinct.

Race is a self identification with social groups (one or more).

the race has a significant role to play when it comes to social organisation level of respects and the implementation of human rights.

The people who belong to the so-called accepted race have all these things they are respected by each other amongst the social groups they have all the human rights implemented and the social organisational structure is a high level. Whilst on the other hand, the people who belong to the so-called low race or the unacceptable race struggle for the basic rights delete the stereotype life and the human rights are not implemented plus they are exploited by the same people who belong to the accepted race.

Huge differences exist and all are created by the concept of race which in itself eventually is a myth.
