What does "Race is a Social Construct” mean?
Although race is a biological concept, it is a social construct in the present society and years before. Race refers to the physical appearances and differences that are seen in an individual as part of their ethnicity band origin, and has been a social construct because if the way in which Individuals are generalized are treated. In addition to this, media also propagates stereotypes bases on race, which can create issues when living in a society and striving for equal representation of diversity.
