Expert Solution

Forming a work team and achieving the organizational objectives together as a team is one of the secret for a successful running of the business.

There were many instances wherein I need to form a work team in order to achieve several organizational objectives. Four of the scenarios were as follows:

  • When I need to form a project team in order to complete a project based on "The Performance Management " and hence have to form a team of 6 people (including a project leader) where 3 of them works on the performance appraisal system of the organization and the rest of the three works on the techniques of performance management. After the successful completion of the project, the team was dissolved respectively.
  • Another instance was when we need to form a task force team due to an emergency situation of a sudden loss of sales for a continuous 6 months time period.
  • A Troubleshooting team was formed once we found a critical issue like hacking of data occurred in our organization wherein which a team of 10 staff was formed in order to identify the source of hacking and solving it.
  • A functional team was formed based on the HR department when there arose a need for more staff in the recruitment and selection area during the new working year where job recruitments are at its peak..
