Social media platform help employee to review about a candidate before hiring them.The employers take advantage of the information uploaded online by a candidate.This information is very helpful in pre-screening applicants.

A survey conducted by an employment website has found that social networking sites are researched by 38 percent of hiring managers and human resources employees.They use these sites as a primary resource to see if the applicant is a good fit for the company.

The survey also states that this type of research hurts the chances of candidates selection by 67 percent.
