That all businesses and organizations could incur threatening actions against them in ways not traditionally seen before, like a physical attack. Contingencies that firms need to consider and possibly prepare for are that threats could be internal and/or external, and that part of the ever-growing complexity of cybersecurity is that threats infiltrating systems are inevitable and can possible be impossible to stop. All firms can control are the level of protection they provide for themselves making it as difficult as possible to infiltrate their systems, and how quickly and effectively they can identify and defuse a threat. Most of the time a firm’s partners, customers, and suppliers are affected by the cyberwarfare threat as well. These considerations should impact the way they deal with sensitive information and assets pertaining to the other parties they do business with.
