One of the most important pandemics of the world thus far is COVID-19 which has made the whole world come to a standstill. Billions of people are affected worldwide with millions of death and America being the worst hit country. Although it’s a pandemic and caused by a deathly virus without a medicine or vaccine thus far, people who are affected are treated as if they have sinned due to fear. They are not allowed to get back int where they lived after the treatment because people do not believe that they are free of the virus. While those infected are treated as if they are suffering for their sins. Everyone knows that people have no other way but to live with this pandemic and do the best to fight it and overcome it but still the fear of death and the fear of getting infected make them treat others who are infected in a more discriminatory ways and stereotype them. This rejection would cause them more harm than the disease as they return to the society.
