Mental and behavioral drug:Acamprosate(campral)-used to stabilize chemical signalling in the brain.used as a therapy for alcoholism

campral,xanax,elavil ORAL Diarrhoea,.abdominal pain,itching. should not be taken by people who have kidney problems,allergies to the drug. Nurses should refer to the manufacturers summary of product before giving it to the patient.Risk of overdoses to be explained.this medication is not suitable for withdrawal treatment.
2. Pain and inflammation management drugs:prednisone is an oral,synthetic corticosteroid used for supressing the immune system and inflammation. aspirin,ibuprofen,corticosteroids. ORAL weight gain,high blood pressure,headache,nausea and vomiting. Diabetic people should not take prednisone.Estrogens may interact with this drug. Check Bp and record atleast twice a day.Blood glucose and serum electrolytes should be continoudly monitored.Be aware of previous history of the patient while administering this drug.
3. Antimicrobial drugs:cefotaxime is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections. penicillin,cefoxitin,ceftriaxone Intramuscular or intravenous infusion. nausea,allergic reactions,inflammation at the site of administration. This drug is not active against Pseudomonas and Enterococcus. Chances of causimg bacterimia or septicemia so nurses should know the history of allergic reactions
4. Immunological drugs:Varicella vaccine interferons,interleukines and viral vaccines. intravenous side effects only occur in people with poor immune function Not recommended for seriously ill people and ,pregnant women not applicable.
